Cleaning in Cyprus: what sets the price of a cleaner
What decides the price of home, deep and move-out cleaning in Larnaca, Limassol, Nicosia and Paphos, how cleaners charge, and how to get quotes you can compare.
Topic
Regular, deep, move-out and office cleaning: what each one covers, what changes the job, and how to brief a cleaner.
Cleaning a home in Cyprus has its own rhythm. Hard water leaves limescale on taps, glass and shower screens. Dust blows in through open balconies for most of the year, and seafront flats in Larnaca and Limassol collect salt on windows and shutters. Rentals and holiday lets in all four cities change hands often, so move-in, move-out and changeover cleans sit alongside the weekly clean.
Each type of clean is a different job. A regular clean keeps a home ticking over. A deep clean adds the inside of cupboards, the oven, limescale, grout and high surfaces. A move-out clean leaves an empty home ready for the next people. Office cleaning runs on a schedule and a written scope. Carpets and sofas are usually a separate job, done with their own machine.
These guides explain what each type covers, the details that change the size of a job (rooms, bathrooms, balconies, pets and how long since the last deep clean), how to compare quotes like for like, and what to agree before anyone starts. Two guides use Limassol as the worked example, and the same questions apply in Larnaca, Nicosia and Paphos. If the problem is mould, deal with the damp first: our mould and damp guide explains why.
