How much does a cleaner cost in Limassol? What sets the price
Last updated 16 October 2026
There is no single price for cleaning in Limassol. Cleaners charge either by the hour or a fixed price per job, and the figure mostly comes down to four things: the size of the place, how dirty it is, whether it is a one-off or regular visit, and the extras you want. The fastest way to a real number is to send the same detailed description to two or three cleaners and compare written quotes.
Hourly or per job?
Regular weekly or fortnightly cleans are usually priced by the hour, because the work is predictable. Deep cleans, move-in or move-out cleans and after-renovation cleans are more often quoted as a fixed price, because the cleaner needs to see (or be shown) how much work there is.
A fixed quote protects you from a job that drags on. An hourly rate is fairer when you only want a few rooms done. Either way, ask what happens if the job takes longer than expected.
What pushes the price up or down
These are the things a cleaner will ask about before quoting:
- Size: number of bedrooms and bathrooms, and roughly how many square metres.
- Condition: a lived-in flat, a property empty for months, or a place after building work are three very different jobs.
- Type of clean: regular maintenance, deep clean, end of tenancy or short-let turnover.
- Extras: inside the oven and fridge, inside cupboards, windows and frames, balconies, ironing.
- Products and equipment: whether the cleaner brings them or uses yours.
- Access: parking near the building, a lift or not, building rules for contractors.
- Timing: weekend and same-day slots are harder to get, especially for holiday-rental changeovers in summer.
Limassol details that change the job
Seafront and high-floor apartments get a film of salt on glass and balcony rails. If you want those done properly, say so up front; window and balcony work is often priced separately.
Many of the newer towers have rules about service lifts, contractor parking and working hours. Check with the building manager before booking, so the cleaner does not lose half an hour at the gate.
If you let a property short-term, tell the cleaner your check-out and check-in times and whether linen changes are included. Turnover cleans are judged on timing as much as on quality.
How to get quotes you can actually compare
Write one description and send it to everyone: property size, what condition it is in, which rooms and extras you want, and when. Photos help. If one cleaner quotes much lower than the others, ask what is not included rather than assuming you found a bargain.

Frequently asked questions
Do cleaners in Limassol bring their own products?
Some do and some expect you to provide them. It affects the price, so ask before you accept a quote and agree it in writing.
Is a move-out clean the same as a deep clean?
They overlap, but a move-out clean is aimed at an empty property and usually includes inside cupboards, appliances and fittings so a landlord or new tenant will accept it. Ask the cleaner for the exact checklist.
Why do two cleaners quote such different prices for the same flat?
Usually because they assumed different things: one included the oven, windows or products and the other did not, or one expects the job to take longer. Send the same written description to each and ask what is included.
Can I book a regular cleaner on a fixed weekly time?
Yes, that is common. Agree the day, the hours, what happens on public holidays and how much notice either side gives to cancel.
Ergo introduces you to independent local professionals. You agree the price and pay them directly; we do not carry out or manage the work. This guide is general information, not legal advice.
