To get an accurate moving quote in Cyprus, give every removal company the same information: an inventory or video walk-through, both addresses with floor numbers and lift access, parking at each end, the date, and whether you want packing. Ask for a written quote that says what is included and whether goods are insured in transit. Most surprises on moving day come from stairs, parking and items nobody mentioned.
What a removal company needs from you
- A list of large items, or a video of every room including balconies and storage.
- Both addresses, floor numbers, and whether there is a lift that fits a sofa or a fridge.
- Parking and access for a truck at each end; narrow village streets and old-town lanes matter.
- Your date and whether it is flexible (end of month is busy).
- Whether you want packing, unpacking, dismantling and reassembly of furniture, or storage.
What affects the price
Volume of goods, distance, floors and lift access, how far the truck can park from the door, packing services, fragile or heavy items (pianos, safes, large mirrors) and the day of the move. A move between cities, say Nicosia to Limassol, is priced differently from a move across town.
