What the requests look like
Moving requests describe the size of the move, from a single sofa or a washing machine to a full house, plus the floor, whether there is a lift, how easy parking is and roughly where the move goes from and to, for example within Limassol or from Nicosia to Paphos. Some customers want packing, dismantling and reassembly of furniture, or a few weeks of storage between homes. Others are moving an office over a weekend, or shipping their belongings to or from another country. With those details you can estimate the crew, the van or truck and the time before you call. You agree the date, the price and exactly what is included, such as insurance cover for breakages, directly with the customer.

Do requests say the floor and whether there is a lift?
Customers can add the floor, lift access and distance in the description, and you can confirm the details or ask for a room list or photos when you call.
Can I offer packing and storage too?
Yes. Choose packing service and storage when you sign up and offer them to customers when you quote.
I only do local moves. Will I get international requests?
Only if you choose international moves. Leave that type out and you will receive local and domestic requests only.
Can I take single-item jobs?
Yes. Furniture moves are often one or two large items. Pick that job type if you want them, and leave it out if you only take full removals.
Who is responsible if something breaks?
You and the customer, under the terms you agree. Ergo does not carry out the move or insure it. Tell customers in your quote what cover you offer for breakages, so they can compare quotes properly before they book you.
Is it free to join?

Do you take a commission?
No. You quote the customer and they pay you directly. We never take a commission on the job price. Ergo is free during launch, with 30 days’ notice before any fees.
Can I choose my cities and how much work I get?
Yes. You pick the services and cities you cover and tell us how many new jobs you can take each week.
How will I receive requests?
Once we’ve reviewed your sign-up, we send matching requests by WhatsApp, phone or email, including the customer’s contact details, which they have agreed to share.
How do I stop receiving requests?
Email us or reply STOP to any message and we stop sending you requests.
What do you do with my details?
We use them to send you requests and run your account. See our privacy policy for what we keep and for how long.
