Repair or replace my aluminium windows?
Rollers, locks, seals and handles can usually be replaced. If frames are bent, corroded or single glazed and you want lower bills, new windows may be worth it. An installer can tell you on a visit.
Is double glazing worth it in Cyprus?
It keeps heat out in summer and in during winter, cuts noise and reduces condensation. Frames with a thermal break make the biggest difference.
Do I need permission to change windows?
In apartments, check with the building management first, as the outside look is often shared. For listed or traditional buildings, ask the local authority.
