What the requests look like

Pool requests come from villa owners and holiday-rental hosts who want a weekly service through the swimming season, from people whose water has turned green or cloudy after a week away, and from owners with a pump that will not prime, a sand filter that needs changing, a pool that keeps losing water or a salt chlorinator that has stopped producing. Others want the pool opened in spring or closed down for winter. Customers can give the pool size and whether it is chlorine or salt, and add a photo of the water or the plant room, so you can price the visit and bring the right chemicals. You choose the areas you drive to, which matters if you are building a regular round around one part of Limassol, Paphos or Larnaca.

Questions from pool technicians

How we use your details · All trades

Do customers give the pool size?

Customers can describe the pool size and type in the request, and you can ask for more detail when you call.

Can I build a weekly round from requests?

You can try. Choose the cities you cover, set your weekly capacity and agree regular visits directly with each customer. We cannot promise how many weekly-service requests there will be.

Do you send leak detection and salt system jobs?

Customers can choose leak detection and salt systems in the form. Pick them only if you have the equipment and experience.

What about holiday-rental pools between guests?

Hosts sometimes need the pool clean before a check-in date. The request shows the date, so you can see whether it fits your round.

Do I need to stock chemicals for every request?

No. The request tells you what the customer has described, such as green water, a salt system or a leak. You decide what to bring, and you can ask the customer to buy chemicals themselves if that is how you work.

Is it free to join?

Free during launch. We may introduce fees later; we’ll give at least 30 days’ notice and fees will apply only after you accept them. The full terms for professionals are on the pro terms page.

Do you take a commission?

No. You quote the customer and they pay you directly. We never take a commission on the job price. Ergo is free during launch, with 30 days’ notice before any fees.

Can I choose my cities and how much work I get?

Yes. You pick the services and cities you cover and tell us how many new jobs you can take each week.

How will I receive requests?

Once we’ve reviewed your sign-up, we send matching requests by WhatsApp, phone or email, including the customer’s contact details, which they have agreed to share.

How do I stop receiving requests?

Email us or reply STOP to any message and we stop sending you requests.

What do you do with my details?

We use them to send you requests and run your account. See our privacy policy for what we keep and for how long.
